Grant, an electrician with 24 years of experience across all facets of electrical installation, co-founded Synergy in 2018 alongside Alex with a shared vision of combining traditional expertise with modern technology. His dedication, technical knowledge, and commitment to top-tier workmanship have been pivotal in establishing Synergy as a trusted provider of high-quality electrical services, always placing customer satisfaction first. Grant prides himself on his problem-solving ability and thrives on new challenges. Over the past three years, he and Alex have retrained and restructured key areas of the business, taking the necessary steps “backwards to move forwards.” This has helped Synergy turn a corner, achieve natural growth, and expand into new ventures. His drive, passion, and resilience remain essential to the company’s development. Outside of work, Grant is a devoted husband and father of two daughters, maintaining a strong balance between family life and business. When he isn’t leading projects or strengthening operations, he can often be found on the golf course—his main passion outside of work. Grant’s leadership, dedication, and forward-thinking approach continue to shape Synergy’s long-term success and vision for the future.

Alex St Claire-Tracy has spent over 20 years building his career in the electrical and renewable energy industry. Starting out as a teenager in electrical wholesalers, he went on to complete his apprenticeship, qualify as a high-level electrician, and progress into contract management and senior operational roles. These early experiences shaped his strong technical ability, problem-solving mindset, and exceptional work ethic. In 2018, Alex founded Synergy, delivering high-quality installations across the South of England. As the industry moved toward sustainable technology, he and Grant co-founded Synergy Renewables in 2023, where Alex now focuses exclusively on solar and renewable systems. His leadership has been central to the company’s rapid growth and reputation for neat installs, honest guidance, and technical excellence. Known for his hands-on approach, Alex oversees operations, coordinates teams, and ensures every project meets Synergy’s high standards. His experience spans domestic, commercial, and large-scale contractor environments. Outside of work, Alex is committed to personal development and well-being. A qualified life coach, he values growth, mindset, and balance — qualities that influence both his leadership and day-to-day decision-making. Driven, forward-thinking, and deeply experienced, Alex plays a key role in steering Synergy Renewables toward a modern and dependable future in renewable energy.

Adam joined Synergy from the beginning in 2018, bringing with him over a decade of experience working alongside Alex and Grant. From day one, his commitment, drive, and deep understanding of the industry have made him an integral part of the business. His progression into the role of Operations Executive is a direct reflection of his hard work and the value he brings to the company. In his role, Adam oversees multiple sites, ensuring that every project is delivered to Synergy’s high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. His exceptional organisation skills and structured approach allow him to coordinate teams seamlessly, keeping workflows tight and operations running smoothly. One of Adam’s greatest strengths is his strong relationships with staff. He has played a pivotal role in shaping the workforce we have today, fostering a positive, motivated, and professional team culture. His leadership, attention to detail, and commitment to supporting the team have been fundamental to Synergy’s continued growth and ongoing success.

Charlotte joined Synergy in the summer 2025 and has quickly become a valued part of the team. Entering a traditionally male-dominated industry, she has shown exceptional confidence, professionalism, and a strong work ethic from day one. Her warm personality shines through in every client interaction, making her a natural fit for her role. Hardworking and committed, Charlotte has confidently taken on the management of our new software system, adapting to it quickly and improving the efficiency of our operations. As Office Manager, she not only supports our clients with care and clarity but also has a strong understanding of the business and its day-to-day needs, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Charlotte’s dedication and adaptability make her an essential member of the Synergy team.

Jamie is the Head of Maintenance and has been a valued member of the team for several years. He oversees all maintenance callouts, PPM work, and general servicing, ensuring every job is handled efficiently and to a high standard. Highly dedicated and technically skilled, Jamie continually improves his expertise, including mastering new management software to keep callouts organised seamlessly—for both our customers and our engineers. He manages our maintenance team exceptionally well, coordinating engineers to attend callouts on time, every time, while keeping costs low for clients. Known for his commitment and strong work ethic, Jamie regularly travels nationwide to service sites, support callouts, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. His deep knowledge of maintenance and callout work makes him an essential part of our operations.

Reece began his electrical career in 2019 as an apprentice, quickly standing out for his strong technical ability and willingness to take on new challenges. His experience on large-scale developments gave him a solid grounding, and he soon progressed to managing full projects, consistently delivering work to an exceptional standard. Now serving as both Technical Manager and Project Manager, Reece plays a key role in Synergy’s growing solar and renewable energy division. Working closely alongside Alex, he helps drive the technical direction of our solar projects, ensuring systems are designed and installed with accuracy and efficiency. Known for his proactive approach, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous improvement, Reece brings reliability and technical strength to every job. His blend of hands-on expertise and leadership continues to make him an important part of Synergy’s ongoing success.

Josh is a hardworking and committed Project Manager who joined Synergy a year ago and has been a key asset from day one. In his first year, he delivered two major projects, including a flagship installation for one of our most prestigious clients. It was completed flawlessly, on programme, and to an exceptional standard. His ability to uphold quality while meeting tight deadlines has made a noticeable impact on the business. Known for his strong management skills, professionalism, and calm, confident approach, Josh works seamlessly with both contractors and clients. He builds trust quickly, manages high-end client relationships with ease, and keeps everyone informed throughout the project, ensuring a smooth and well-coordinated delivery every time. With experience across commercial, industrial, and domestic electrical work, Josh brings versatility, technical strength, and reliability to every project he leads. His dedication and commitment to excellence make him an invaluable member of the Synergy team.

Spencer began his electrical career with Synergy in 2020 as an improver, quickly demonstrating a strong drive to learn, grow, and excel. After gaining valuable experience in office fit-outs, he progressed into high-end residential work, where his attention to detail, craftsmanship, and commitment to quality quickly set him apart. His natural leadership abilities and dedication to delivering exceptional results led him into project management, where he now oversees complex projects with confidence and precision. Spencer has a unique ability to build strong rapport with clients on every project he delivers. He consistently ensures their needs are fully met, provides regular updates, and keeps them closely involved throughout the build process—giving clients complete confidence and clarity at every stage of their installation. Spencer’s professional growth reflects his passion for the industry, his reliability, and his ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest standards across all projects he leads.

Chris joined Synergy in 2023 as a fully qualified electrician, reuniting with Alex and Grant after many years of successful collaboration. His strong technical background, steady work ethic, and adaptable approach quickly made him an invaluable part of the team. With experience across commercial, high-end residential, and specialist shop-fitting projects, he brings a broad and reliable skill set to the business. As Contracts Manager, Chris leads our shop-fitting operations and oversees premium residential projects, managing each one with confidence and precision. His hands-on expertise and clear communication ensure installations are delivered to Synergy’s high standards, with efficient planning and smooth coordination throughout the process. Chris is also deeply committed to supporting our engineers, working closely with them to make sure they’re organised, equipped, and able to work safely and efficiently. His approachable leadership style, dedication to the team, and consistent professionalism continue to strengthen Synergy and contribute significantly to our ongoing success.

Michal is a highly trusted and long-standing member of the Synergy team, known for his exceptional skill, reliability, and unmatched work ethic. As our Mechanical Engineer, he brings years of hands-on expertise to every project and is recognised as someone who can turn his hand to absolutely anything on the tools. Acting as Project Manager for the heating and air-conditioning side of the business, Michal delivers high-end installations across plumbing, HVAC, and shop-fit environments. His dedication is second to none—he’s the type of individual who will stay late, work any hours required, and ensure every project is delivered on time and to the highest standard. Michal also plays a key role in developing new talent within the industry. With several new plumbing apprentices joining the team, he is leading their training and mentorship, passing on his vast knowledge and helping shape the next generation of mechanical engineers.
